About me
For further information about me please see attached my full CV
Hi! I'm Jasmine Courtney. Welcome to my e-Portfolio page. I am currently a student at Writtle University college completing a Masters degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy. I am in my first year of study at present and I am excited to further my knoweldge and to qualify eventually as a veterinary physiotherapist. I am particularly interested in learning more about gait analysis and animal locomotion.
Prior to commencing my study I had already completed a BSc (hons) in animal science at Harper Adams University, from there I went on to work as an Animal health officer for APHA based at Heathrow airport. I have also comp1eted a number of volunteering placements including 3 months in Cyprus working with dogs at a sanctuary and 2 weeks conservation work in South Africa. In addition to this I have completed a number of placements working with a variety of animals from cats and dogs, to horses and livestock as well as zoo animals.
In my personal life I spend a lot of time with my families 3 dogs Marcus, Frankie and Snowy. We love going on long walks along the coast together and exploring new locations. I also have my own cat, teeny, hes has been with us for around 6 months and is very happy chasing around his toy banana in his new home. You can see a collection of my pictures with some of my pets below!
